Rules & Regulations

GUIDELINES TO PARENTS

  • To read the rules and regulations of the school and abide by the decisions of the school to follow the programmes of the school as per the calendar is given to parents.
  • To take care that the children do the home work and come well prepared to school in time.
  • To meet the class teachers on month's last week of Saturday to see children's progress in studies.
  • Not to visit the class teachers or students during the class hour without permission of the Principal.
  • To submit Tuition fee and all other fees in the office before and after the class every day.
  • To reach and fetch the children from different vehicle stops.
  • To reach as well as to fetch back in time all those who come on foot.
  • Write names on the tiffin and water bottles, biscuit, chocolate and other things are not encouraged.
  • Check the bag whether he / she has all the books, pencil and rubber etc.
  • Not to come to the school compound in drunk conditions.
  • To check regularly their notebooks, school diary and report card and take adequate measure for the progress of the children and certain amount of guidance at home.
  • Not to send any jewellery, valuables mobile phones, money, CD player etc. to the school premises.
  • Mobile caught in school campus will be returned after final exam.

GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS

  • Have high moral values.
  • Respect for teachers, students and parents.
  • Participate in all common school activities.
  • Medium of conversation is English.
  • Reporting of the teachers must be at least fifteen minutes before the assembly.
  • Teachers in morning duty have to reach half an hour before the assembly.
  • Be punctual in duty, move to the class immediately after the bell.
  • Put signature in the attendance register before the assembly.
  • Taking mobile in the class is not permitted.

GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS

  • A person is judged by his / her manners. Therefore, students shall be obedient and respectful to teachers and elders and greet them warmly wherever they meet them at school and outside.
  • "Cleanliness is next to Godliness", therefore every student shall consider cleanliness of dress and person as essential values.
  • Punctuality paves the way for order and discipline, hence, every student is expected to be present for the assembly.
  • It is compulsory for every student to come to school in proper uniform including footwear.
  • Students are to speak English at school premises.
  • Every student is expected to participate in all the activities of the school.
  • Students who damage any property of the school shall repair the loss.
  • Ornaments or jewellery of any kind are not allowed in the school. Every student must look after his / her belongings. The school authorities will not be responsible for the lost things
  • Besides the books and library books, no other books are encouraged. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited for students in the school. Once caught it, will be returned after annual exam.
  • The principal has the right to control all correspondence that comes to students through the school.
  • Forging signatures of the parent or teacher, altering marks, etc, will be taken seriously.
  • No gift or donation to the teachers is allowed in the school.
  • Attendance on opening days after the holidays like Diwali, Christmas, summer vacation, annual and half-yearly vacations is compulsory. Absence will be punished or removal of name from the attendance register.
  • Attendance at official functions like Independence Day, Republic Day, Sports Day, Annual Day, Teachers Day children's Day is mandatory.
  • Students who absent themselves without leave for more than 15 consecutive days shall be deemed to have left the school and their name shall automatically be struck of the rolls. Re-ad mission is left to the discretion of the principal.
  • Students whose attendance is irregular, or who habitually neglect home work or who in the opinion of the school authorities repeatedly violate the rules and regulations of the school or whose conduct is not in keeping with the moral tone of the school or whose activities are detrimental to the very objectives of St. Paul's School are liable to be expelled.
  • Students will not be allowed to leave the school during the school hours unless they submit to the principal a written application from the guardian.
  • Once the Student is out of the school compound school is not responsible for the Student.
  • In case of accidents, school will provide only first aid, other related expense parents have to bear.
  • The school is not responsible for the loss of anything from the students.
  • They must be responsible for their own things.
  • To avoid accidents and injuries, no one shall come to school by two wheelers without a valid license.
  • Hair style has to be as students , other wise parents will be called.
  • For boys Uniform pants must touch shoes and should not be too narrow.
